We’ve upgraded our tank filler used for filling plating tanks from a hose that shuts off the water automatically. The hose filler (or Hoze Filla™) quickly clamps to the tank lip so it can’t move during the tank fill. Then, you adjust the depth is necessary, and turn on the manual valve to start the water filling. When the water level reaches the shutoff valve, the water shuts off automatically.
There is an emergency alarm built in, just in case anything goes wrong. And this alarm is not a wimpy residential quality alarm but an industrial alarm with a volume of 103dB at 2 ft. In addition, there is a strobe light on top that can’t be missed. The alarm detects water level with gold-plated conductivity sensors. This industrial battery will last for about 50 hours of continuous alarming. Since it is never expected to sound, this means peace of mind for 10 years. More information on our Hoze Filla™ page.
