DATA LOGGER ALARM OVERVIEW
Temperature data logger with alarm built-in records up to six thermocouple or RTD channels at once. If the temperatures go too high or too low, then a loud buzzer sounds along with stack light LED. Pressing the front button silences the buzzer for 30 minutes. This audio and visual alarm makes it perfect for the factory floor. Installation is as simple as mounting it and plugging it in.
ALARM DETAILS
There are two alarm outputs available and they can be combined various different ways. The most common setup would be to have a narrow range around the setpoint which would activate the yellow LED. Then if the temperature gets outside of a wider range around the setpoint, that would activate the red LED along with the buzzer.
Alternatively, you can set the alarm outputs so some of the channels could display the yellow LED, and others could display the red LED. Also, some channels could display both LEDs, or none.
Additionally, you could set low temperature alarms to the yellow LED and high temperature alarms to the red for example.
Setting up these temperature alarms is easy and intuitive. Even so, there is detailed help either written or video on this page. And of course there is always technical support based in New York.
DATA
Data can be accessed either with a convenient USB flash drive, the front screen, or RS485 communication. Data storage on-board the unit is 450 days with a temperature reading every 60 seconds. You can adjust this recording interval from 1-3600 seconds, and less frequent readings will of course result in a longer time span of readings. Oldest data is overwritten by most recent.
The display screen on the front also outputs the recorded data in various formats: either numerical value, circular chart, or line graph. Furthermore, historical data can be reviewed on screen without having to load the data to a computer. The front screen data displays are also adjustable from 1 second up to every 3600 seconds. (this is independent of the data recording interval above) This way real-time data can quicly accessed right at your process where the data logger alarm is mounted.
SOME OF THE DATA LOGGER DISPLAY SCREENS
DISPLAY SCREENS
There are 8 displays available that can be accessed by toggling between them with the “ENTER” key. They are: (in order)
- Six channel numerical display. Displays all 6 channels.
- Four channel numerical display. Displays only ch. 1-4
- Two channel numerical display. Displays only ch. 1, 2.
- Bar graph. Displays all channels in a bar graph. Great for comparison of data points.
- History line graph.
- History circle chart.
- Settings screen.
- Real-time line graph. Can be set to update every 1-3600 seconds.
- Real time circle chart. Can be set to update every 1-3600 seconds.
