The IBC LOW LEVEL ALARM prevents running empty with a flashing LED and loud buzzer.
ILPX-PP IBC ALARM
Stop IBC tanks running empty…
- Always on duty because the liquid tube is permanently attached to the alarm unit.
- It can go anywere because it is battery powered. No need for power outlets.
- Uninterruptible battery power lasts for years. Lithium battery included.
- Loud warbling tone cuts through the loudest industrial noise.
- Rugged. Built for rough, wet and corrosive environments.
- Protects your pumps from debris with an intake screen.
- No wetted metal parts.
IBC TOTE TANK ALARM for low liquid level makes sure your process will never run out of chemicals. When liquid level is low, an IBC Alarm emits a very loud 103dB beeping sound, and flashing LED.
Uninterruptible battery power works through power failures, can’t come unplugged, or be defeated. And, because the Drum Alarms don’t use any power until alarming, the batteries last for years.
Float switch is protected inside a pipe. The float is immune to abuse from getting knocked around during transfer between containers. Years of reliable service.
Adjustable depth to fit any size tote tank. Simply loosen the thumb screw to slide pipes to correct depth to a maximum of 53 inches. (this is slightly deeper than a standard 330 gallon Mauser IBC tank which is 48.5″)
Feed tube is permanently attached to the float switch, so the level alarm is always on duty.
Removable filter screen on the suction pipe guards your pumps from debris or crystals. A replaceable check valve can be easily inserted in-line to prevent liquid from draining when transferring to new containers if needed.
Check valve if the IBC will be transferred to different tanks by lifting it up and out then a check valve is a good idea to stop backflow of the chemical. more info here
Push button to test the battery or to silence the alarm is included. Includes different field-settable behaviors like snooze alarm, tank filling modes. In the default mode the LED to continues to flash after the button is pressed to silence the buzzer. In the tank fill mode the LED and buzzer both turn off until the next high level event. (resets itself automatically) models have polypropylene floats, and polypropylene piping so all wetted parts are polypropylene.
MODELS
The products can have a liquid suction pipe included as part of the unit, or without. They can be made from polypropylene or PVDF or SS when required.
The lid is always a 6 inch Buttress thread, which is standard in the industry.
Models without a suction pipe start with model number ILK.
Models with a liquid suction pipe start with ILP, (for polypropylene) or ILK. (for Kynar) For these models, a flowmeter is an option that will provide a convenient visual indicator of the flow. (this option is only for the polypropylene units)
We sell the suction pipes only. Please contact us for price and availability.
