Low Profile Overfill Alarm for Tanks

This unique tank alarm is designed to mount on the rim of plating tanks to solve the problem of overfilling.  Very often I seen plating shops that fill tanks either hoses or with valves hard-piped into tanks. Either way the operator must shut off the valve!  The cost of an overfill is not just the lost chemistry and the time to correct the chemistry, and possibly bad parts through the line, but also the waste treatment cost as well. 

This overfill alarm has a very low profile so it doesn’t get damaged by overhead baskets or barrels.  The principle of operation is simple: if the liquid level reaches the float switch, then the loud alarm sounds.
