Flat mounting plates are made from ABS plastic. ABS offers better heat resistance than PVC.
The plates will hold pipes that are ¾” trade size. (trade size ¾” has an outside diameter 1.06 inch, or 27.0 mm) There is a thumbscrew that tightens against the pipe to hold is securely. The thumbscrew has a phenolic head and 316 stainless steel threads for maximum corrosion resistance.
Mounting plates are available to hold either 1,2,3 or 4 pipes.
The plate is meant to sit on the flat lip of a tank and can be drilled into so it can be bolted to the tank lip.
