A Smarter clearance height alarm…

Height clearance bar alarm mounts on any height clearance bar.  If the height bar alarm is disturbed by a strike from a forklift, a loud warbling buzzer sounds and LED light flashes, which alerts the forklift driver in time to stop and avoid a collision.

Installation consists of just mounting then alarm onto the end of a pipe, and leveling it using the bubble level built-in.  When the unit is level, simply simply tighten the thumbscrew. That’s it! The battery is even pre-installed so you don’t even have to open the cover unless you want to change the buzzer sounding time from the default 10 seconds.

The most common bar we see is 2 inch PVC but we provide an adapter for 1.5″ bars too.

Battery life is easily 10 years as it consumes no power until alarming.  You will probably never have to replace the battery.

BENEFITS OF A CLEARANCE ALARM

Damage to roll-up doors, air conditioners, low hanging things being struck by forklifts is common.  Especially with drivers commonly wearing earbuds.  This low clearance alarm solves this problem by sounding an alarm loud enough to be heard over earbuds. And it provides safety for the forklift, and the forklift operator too!   Why pay for an expensive bar when all you really need is the alarm on a bar that you may already have mounted?
