The inductive proximity sensor detects metal through any amount of film, dirt or other obstructions. Its our choice for dirty manufacturing plants. The range of 1.5 inches [40 mm] is state-of-the-art for a sensor this compact – only 30 mm diameter.  Powered by 12-30VDC. We incorporate this into our timers and other products to signal the presence of racks and other objects.
