Any Simple Apparatus

DIFFERENT SIMPLE DEVICES

Our alarm boxes and liquid level alarms have used only float switches in the past.  We were asked if we could provide an alarm that could use a pressure switch.  Therefore we have extended our certification to encompass any simple apparatus with our alarms.  So now it opens up use with strain gauges, bi-metal temperature switches, load cells, Hall effect sensors, flow switches and more.

DEFINITION

A simple device (apparatus) is any device that stores no energy, Simple Apparatus is a device (apparatus) which is a passive component such as switches, junction boxes, resistors, simple semiconductors, or simple circuits containing capacitors or inductors with well defined and low level of stored energy or components such as thermocouples which do not generate more than 1.5 V, 100 mA and 25 mW.
